PICTURES THAT WORTH THOUSAND WORDS assalamualaikum... people say a picture worths a thousand words but what if several pictures? it maybe spells lots of colours behind the image itself. it goes beyond just a still picture we can witness through our gross eyes. perception depends on how we see it. so here i brought to you some pictures i've taken during raya haji and some more prior to the celebration...
THE only source of light this is the pelita..i took this picture while i was relaxing on the second storey of my atok's house (in k.kangsar, perak)..i was really bored and i couldn't find anything to turn me on. so, i godeked my handset and shoot this image. it was a pelita shone in the dark. for your information, this is the only light energy that could find here. apart from that, atok and opah (my grandmother) use a sort of pelita made out of karbaid sounds like that (i don't know how to translate it to english btw)..so by litting up the light using the match, it dimly shines the entire house. sad? but true...my atok's house don't equipped with electricity and water supply like each of us in this millenium era. serious! if i am courteous enough, i will call TV3 and publish the dark story of my grandparents in bersamamu.. but nevertheless i have to consider to uphold our dignity in the first place. my emak must be regretted if i do so. it will disgrace us. but in fact, it is reality. the life of the two nearly-reach-90's couple is too hard for us to bear. i have tried to ask them to follow us to KL..but they refused. they never seen those as hardship. it's their life. instead of being far away from the land they were born, they were prefer to live the life like that. it's only those who never underwent such situation will see they suffer.
THE power has gone. this is the man himself..i call him a tyrant. why? because he auhtorizes absolute power in the house..everybody must listen to him. if not, they will be blamed as rude...during his young ages, he had several times being cruel to my grandmother (whom i love the most)..i don't want to spread the bad things about him. it will degrace me as well. so, hendak dijadikan cerita, he met an accident on his way back home nearly three years ago. he was on his bicycle while a car hit him at the back. the passeser-by mentioned the man who hit him was kind and offered to take him to the hospital..but this arrogant man refused. he told he can heal it himself. during that time he was able to raise and cycled back home...he stood that he will apply all skills he has, including massaging and traditional medicine to bring him back to normal. but as mentioned by my grandmother, the accident took its toll few hours later. as a result, he couldn't move his legs as normal. he couldn't raise and found he was unable to sit. since then, my grandmother took the charge of chores and did everything that even a normal man can't believe- she cooks, washes clothes, commutes from the house to shops finding the unlikely things asked by this tyrant. cleans up his butt after he discretes..and keeps her ears thick hearing the tyrant mumbling around, blindly scolding her with no purpose, boasting his migth during the japanese invasion, la joining politics,la..was about to execute, but succeeded to flee from the communist, and he keep repeating those all over again. thank GOD< my grandmother has minimal hearing (nearly deaf..eheh)..i don't know how had my opah gone through all these alone? if i was her, i'm gonna be mad! to be worsen, she also have to stride down the hill, to sungai perak hundred meters away and climbs up the cliff to find water for life..believe me, this story is true..i never twisted the the facts! but as a result, she had even been cursed to cheat on him..touching a man's hand and been accused to do such things that impossible to be done by the 80-something! that's nonsense. but who am i to criticize him for this i'm just his grand daughter. i don't want to be rude but deepdown, i try to make the way out for her..(not for him) to the civilized world out there. i want to set her free from the 'jail' created by this tyrant..argghh!..hoping it won't be late for me to do that.....
READY for udhhiyyah! abah asked me to snap the picture. he didn't dare to go out and come closer to the place where this cow will be sacrificed. hehehe..quite amusing...i never thought a tough guy like him will bear such fear. he told me he didn't have the heart to see a "comel" animal like that suffers to the death.. so kelakar la.. instead of those who are entitled for the sacrifice, i was the one who witness it. i recorded the video. want to know how the sacrifice has done? chinozie stories it very detail in his blog. a few family member who join the 'share' includes makcik, makcho and makteh the whole family. it was rm300 for each share. i hope, if the GOD prolong my life, i'd spend my money to sacrifice, I.A...it purifies the heart of every muslims. btw, in the special day celebrated by th e muslims, peoples of Iraq have been bestowed by the invader a special being. the whole world knew it. it's not an animal to be sacrificed as usual. it is a human being! he has been known for long as he ruled the country with the so-called dictatorship ruling system...i don't want to mention the name. but sacrificing someone in the name of law while peoples are celebrating the religious big day is such an insult. nobody will agree with that. even though the west is overshadowed by his persistent image, he was the first man of the country, being able to unite the confRonted tribes which bring hostility inland and he practiced the sunni school. he maybe guilty upon the death of many peoples. but at the end of his life, he is able to get repented and pronouncing the kalimah of syahadah. at least, he is proven muslim and died in purity. he's gone..but the world will remember him and the name will be etched in history. Al-fatihah to almarhum saddam hussein abd majid al-tikriti (28/4/1937 --- 30/12/2007)
I demand the irresponsible official who recorded the execution be punished. ----------------------------------------------------
THE landlord (in blue) with abah at the back..sedang melawat kawasan ..ehehe at only 23, he has some assets. THE LAND! yes, abah had transfered the ownership of the jungle-like land to him. it locates a bit interior with the width of an acre. it's good for him. at least he know what to do with the land. he can apply all he has studied (urban planning) and could simply utilize the experience he has gone through by exploring the country, going abroad and practical training by posessing this asset. actually, abah inherited this land through tok nie...tok nie, (abah's dad) had died of heart failure in 1992...abah said, when he is healthy and able to walk, he has to make a decision for the future of this land. so, he decided to name my little brother to inherit it. as he is the only son. apart from that, my brother is also being a landlord for a piece of "tanah kebun" in a remote area in sayong...eheheh...very fruitful one...he has the trust given by the tyrant (my maternal grandfather) to inherit it. before that, the tyrant has been criticized after his wrongly judgment (foolish) to transfer the ownership to my down's syndrome uncle. adaka patut? the only reason he gives, my uncle is a man. yes, la he is man, but he is unable to judge and make sound decision. in fact he is disable. when he (tyrant) was healthy, never comes to his mind that the land ownership should be rename after he died. he always thinks he's gonna live long. but he was wrong.. the accident put him inferior. in fact, he has to face the fact the death will come at anytime. so, we drove him to the land office dengan mengusungnya menggunakan kerusi malas..kelakar, kan? my brother and abah struggled to put him to my car@ family car...as we reached the land office, he create the problem. he didn't want to pronounce my little brother's name..and the time we spend to balik kampung to settle down those matters was worthless. they (abah and little brother) did it for the second time. they went to kampung to fix the problem (about the land, lerr..)..eventually, he had agreed to name my little brother as his heir..ehehe...(it seems abah and my brother tried to force him to transfer the ownership? no! we're just enforcing our right..because in the meantime some others -- those whose are biologically related to the tyrant) are trying to take the land! they use the fact that, my atok , tyrant himself, didn't make a new ownership, and he doesn't have someone eligible to inherit the land, ..so the tyrant's nephew are taking advantage lerr...salah diri sendiri jugak,, so those who read this blog, mind you..while you are healty, make a last will (wasiat), and settle those related to inheritance..before Allah take your health away , you are unable to manage all that and yet, it troubles everyone in your family
